Setting up two-factor authentication

Two-factor authentication (2FA) adds an extra layer of security to your Foliostone account by requiring a second verification step when you sign in.

How to enable 2FA:

1. Go to your account Settings and select the Security tab. 2. Click "Enable two-factor authentication." 3. Scan the QR code with your authenticator app (Google Authenticator, Authy, or any TOTP-compatible app). 4. Enter the 6-digit code from your authenticator app to confirm setup.

Recovery codes — After enabling 2FA, Foliostone provides a set of recovery codes. Store these in a safe place. If you lose access to your authenticator app, you can use a recovery code to sign in.

Important: Each recovery code can only be used once. We recommend saving them in a password manager or printing them and storing them securely.

With 2FA enabled, even if someone obtains your password, they cannot access your account without your authenticator device.
