How to add your first asset

Adding your first asset to Foliostone takes just a few steps using our guided creation wizard.

From the dashboard, click the + New asset button. The wizard will guide you through selecting the asset type (real estate, stocks, crypto, etc.), entering its name, and providing a current valuation.

For financial assets like stocks or ETFs, you can search for the instrument and Foliostone will automatically track its market price. For real estate, you enter the purchase price and estimated current value.

After creating the asset, you can enrich it with additional details: purchase date, associated entity (e.g. an SCI or holding company), documents, and transaction history. The asset will immediately appear on your dashboard and contribute to your net worth calculations.

Tip: Start with your most significant asset to see the dashboard come alive right away.
